If you’re looking for a big family-sized above-ground pool that doesn’t break the bank, the Lake Effect Pools ‘Impressions’ 15 ft x 30 ft Oval Bundle is an excellent option.
This 48-inch deep oval pool offers plenty of swimming and playing space for the whole family. The steel-sided walls are strong and hold up well, while the 25-gauge liner looks great and feels durable. I especially like that it comes as a complete bundle — you get the A-Frame ladder, sand filter pump system, and skimmer included, so you’re not hunting for parts or surprised by extra costs.
Setup was straightforward for a pool this size (with 2-3 people and a level base, it went together nicely). The oval shape gives it a more premium look compared to round pools, and the 48″ height feels much more secure and private than shallower models.
After a couple weeks of use, the water stays clear with the sand filter, and the pool has handled summer heat and kids splashing without any issues. It’s a serious upgrade from smaller pools we’ve had in the past.
