This full-tang survival/bushcraft knife features a massive 6.51-inch blade that’s a full 4.7mm thick, making it one of the stoutest production fixed blades in its price range. Whether you choose the 1095 high-carbon version (with black G10 handles) or the AEB-L stainless (with green Micarta), it comes razor sharp out of the box and is built for heavy tasks like batoning firewood, prying, chopping, and general hard use.
The contoured handle feels great in the hand with excellent jimping and a finger choil for secure control, even when wet or sweaty. At about 11.8″ overall and weighing roughly 12 oz, it has a solid, balanced feel without being overly heavy. The pommel is hammer-ready, and the included Kydex sheath is excellent — adjustable retention and a rotatable clip that lets you carry it multiple ways (vertical, horizontal, scout carry, etc.).
For the money, this is one of the toughest and best-value big fixed blades I’ve tested. It feels more like a $150–$200 knife than what it actually sells for. Perfect for camping, hunting, bushcraft, or as a truck/box knife that can take a beating.
