The Kizer Cabox Fixed Blade Knife is a fantastic compact EDC and outdoor blade that punches well above its price point.
This Jonathan Styles-designed fixed blade features a 3.36–3.75″ stonewashed D2 drop-point blade on a full tang construction. It’s tall and thin with a high flat grind, making it excellent for slicing, skinning, food prep, and general utility tasks. Out of the box, it arrives razor sharp with great edge retention.
The black rough-grained Micarta handle provides outstanding grip even when wet or dirty, and the deep finger choil plus the pinky ring at the pommel gives you excellent control and security. At just under 8.2″ overall and only about 3.9 oz, it’s slim and lightweight enough for comfortable everyday carry while still feeling solid in hand.
It comes with a well-made Kydex sheath that supports multiple carry positions (horizontal, vertical, or scout carry) with leather straps.
Whether you’re looking for a reliable camping, hiking, hunting, or EDC fixed blade, the Cabox delivers premium feel, thoughtful ergonomics, and strong performance at a very reasonable cost. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite small fixed blades.
